Where do you fit in?

Wild Island Family Adventure Park has grown tremendously since it opened in 1989, and now employs over 400 people each season. So where do you fit in? Well, that all depends on who you are. The following is a list of the different departments at Wild Island that are accepting applications. Some departments are smaller than others, but each department is vital to the everyday functioning of the park. With the variety of departments and positions Team Wild Island has to offer, you should have no problem finding your niche.

  • Operations — this is the largest department at Wild Island and incorporates three different divisions: Lifeguards, First Aid, and Operational Services.
    • Lifeguards — If you are at least 15 years old and love the water, then this might be the place for you. Lifeguards do have to go through extensive training in order to be certified.
    • First Aid — All applicants must possess (at least) EMT Basic, NV Certification.
    • Operational Services — This department involves maintaining the cleanliness of the waterpark, checking bags, and assisting with tube rentals.
  • Other Waterpark Positions:
    • Kitchen — This department employs runners and cooks for the refreshment stands located within the park.
    • Cashier — This department employs ticket takers & cashiers for all the departments.
  • Golf Course/Arcade/Raceway — Are you at least 16 years old? Well, then you can consider working at the Golf Course & Arcade or Raceway.
    • Golf Course & Arcade — You would work as a cashier, arcade attendant (counting tickets and fixing video and redemption games), snack bar attendant and party host/hostess.
    • Raceway — Here you would attend customers that ride the Go-Karts. You may also have the opportunity to do some light maintenance on the Go-Karts.
  • Coconut Bowl — If you are at least 16 years old and like to work indoors, then you may consider working for the Coconut Bowl.
    • Coconut Bowl — Here you work as a cashier, party host/hostess and attend the High Ballocity play area.
  • Waterdogs snack bar & bar — This department supplies cashiers, runners, cooks and bartenders.
  • Group Sales - Help organize birthday parties and group events.
